Got Oil?

Another day in my new renovated life has passed. I let go of my precious BMW and started to ride my Paul Frank Beach Cruiser to school. Since I lived all the way over at Los Angeles, My two friends & I decided to move out to an apartment in Santa Monica. This would be less expensive & would be easier for us just to hop on to our bikes and ride off. When I decided to move out to Santa Monica and attend Santa Monica College, I made some plans for a rather good income. I started my own business of Pastries. Tragically I had to shut it down for various reasons, but the main one is OIL. When I looked for some necessary ingredients they were either not enough or run out. Days pass and not a single new item have arrived. I was really down some for the reason that not only did I lose a business chance but I had to fire some friends and family members. Know that Ralphs and Smart & Final seem like a luxury, my roommates and I decided to go off to Farmers market. In the farmers market we found cheap, organic, fresh cut, healthy food. We thought this is going to help us sustain ourselves, and meat well will only be eaten when we have company. Were overcoming this crisis and if we keep up the bike riding to school, market, & other important stores than we would have enough saved up for later on. Yes we've given up soda, chips, candy, electronics, and other artifacts and become well sort of environmentally friendly.

A Catastrophe!!

For months I had been planning to go off to a vacation with my friends. We all had good ideas and finally decided to jet to France. So we packed our bags and left everything in order so when we came back we wouldn't have a mess. The Five of us headed off to the airport; I had to ride with my friend yanira in her environmentally friendly car, gas was still low. So we arrived LAX and saw few people going in and out. We thought maybe it’s early but what the hell lets go in before our flight leaves. We entered the airport and it was merely full, there were no lines to be waiting on. A tall security guard came towards us and said, "Sorry ladies but no flights are scheduled for a month". Of course we all got upset and asked why. He responded that there was not enough fuel to finally of the planes tanks. Our dreams of finally taking a picture in front of the Arc de Triomphe were shattered!!

Now I know what Demand & supply mean ^_^!!

Today as I woke up and as a usual day I thought of going out for a quick jog around the park. I tuned my iPod to its newly saved podcasts that a friend had downloaded for me. She told me there was a lot of important information that I should know like demand and supply. She had explained to me what Demand and Supply mean, but I decided to listen on. The voice briefly explained what demand was and it said, "Demand is all the different portions of a certain good or a service that people, "consumers", buy in all different prices. However, Supply is the ability of the producers to have goods and services at a different price in various marketplaces." As I started to stop in font of my house, I thought to myself, it feels good to learn something.

As it continues to decrease...

Today I read an article stating that by every day that passes there is less oil products being produced. I've come to a very important decision in my life & this means I would have to give up my precious BMW & ride to school in my Beach cruiser. Gasoline rates are too high & as weeks pass by there is less in every gas station. Know that i decided to give up my car i would have to stick to my bicycle. A little excercise doesn't hurt, right??

Life Without Hand Lotion

Today I noticed my old hand lotion was almost going to run out.I went to Bath & Body Works to buy a new one. As I walked in I saw the shelves empty; no shampoos, no lotions, NO HAND LOTIONS! I thought What Am I Going To Do? I went up to the sales clerk and asked her what hurricane hit the store? Was there a sales on? She just simply replied theres no more Hand lotion know that oil production is low. I was awestruck and thought, this is what happens when we don't take to consideration the limited things we have.
